COLOMBATES has its paper production plant and headquarters in the town of Palmira, Department Valle del Cauca, Colombia. From there and thru our sales force, we take care of customers in the western part of Colombia; additionally we have a sales office in the city of Bogota that attends all sales activities for the center and eastern parts of the country.

In order to strengthen marketing operations in Venezuela and to lend a better service to our customers in that country, the Colombo-Venezuelan office of Bates Packaging was inaugurated in March 2000 in the city of Valencia, giving export logistic support to this neighbor country. During the first half of 2002 we plan to install a sack production plant at Guacara, Venezuela which expect to start operations during the second semester 2002. We use the Smurfit sales facilities of Ecuador to serve customers there and in January 2002, Colombates established a sales representative in Peru.
